RETREATS, EVENTS, PRIVATE DINING

Influenced by my Japanese heritage and a life shaped through travel, my cooking is guided by an intuitive understanding of balance, seasonality, and the relationship between food, body, and place. I am blessed to have been raised by a culture that reveres food in all its shapes – as an expression of terroir, human creativity, and of  connection and gathering.

Through creative produce-led meals, I seek to connect and illuminate the many gifts that food contains — nourishment, medicine, pleasure, beauty, ritual, and community. I believe in a food culture that nourishes the earth in the way it is grown, nourishes the body in the way it is prepared, and nourishes the community in the way it is shared.

Each meal, each plate, carries within it an invitation to slow down and connect with ourselves, one another, and the living world around us. To celebrate life.

My kitchen is centred around whole ingredients, free from refined sugar and low in gluten, with house-made ferments, vinegars, and condiments to add a touch of magic to each plate.

Ingredients are sourced as much as possible from local farms and ethical producers, with an emphasis on integrity and seasonality.
