often, I feel self aware in social situations.
I procrastinate around doing things on screens,
and fidget during movies.

but when I'm working with my hands--
I glide at the frequency of presence and curiosity, and become one with what I'm doing. My hands start to lead, mind in a supporting role. Time simultaneously flies and ceases to exist.

I enjoy following the thread of what brings me into that place of sweet silent focus. Some tasks quickly absorb me, others- even things I think I'd like, or things I'd like to like- require repeated effort to draw my attention back.

with no effort -- energy flows
following the path of least resistance.

These little figurines seen in various museums have been one of the small highlights of the trip. Something inside me stirs looking at their thousands of years old faces lit with emotions I recognise as my own — our own. They speak to me of wisdom-innocence — intuition — fertility — groundedness — of wonder — a trance — of love. It is both an astounding miracle and deeply obvious at once.

We're looking for someone to look after our home in a hectare of oak forest in the Minho valley from mid December- Jan while we are away.

You would be living in a beautiful yurt with a full off-grid system built from the ground by @eyeofescott - solar electricity, the best wood burner, a beautiful sheltered outdoor kitchen.

The land is a SE facing slope with a spring fed creek running along the bottom, and higher up our baby garden and fruit trees that would love being looked after over the winter.

The surrounding area is full of magic, with the Atlantic ocean, natural hot springs, a national park, beautiful mountains, and old medieval towns all within an hour by car. The people in this area are some of the kindest I've ever met.⁣
⁣
It rains quite a lot this time of year, but if you're happy curling up by the fire and feel to spend your winter in a secluded, incredibly beautiful and peaceful part of the world we'd love to hear from you.
